Baked French Fries is the healthier version of the traditional french fries which we all love :)
Ingredients
Potatoes: 2 medium peeled and cut into thin strips
Olive Oil: 1-2 tbsp
Salt: to taste
Instructions
Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees celsius. Grease a baking tray with oil.
Soak the cut potatoes in enough water for 20 minutes. Wash thoroughly several times.
Drain all the water from the potatoes and pat dry with towel.
Add olive oil and toss the potato strips in olive oil. Sprinkle salt and toss.
Place the potato strips on the baking tray without overlapping.
Bake for 15 minutes. Turn in between if required. Remove when golden brown and crispy. Note : You may need to change the amount of time for which you bake the fries based on how thin or thick you cut the potatoes.
Serve hot with ketchup.
