Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies

Here is a healthier version of the classic chocolate chip cookies – made of wheat flour instead of the all-purpose flour. These cookies are fairly simple to make, need very basic ingredients and are ready in a few minutes. Plus the fact that they are made of wheat flour, allows you to indulge in them with a guilt free mind 🙂

I have not really used olive oil for baking. For certain recipes I have substituted butter with vegetable oil and that doesn’t interfere much with the end result. Certain olive oils have a strong smell which may affect the final result.

Brown sugar can be substituted by regular white sugar. I haven’t really tried it for this recipe, but I don’t think regular sugar will be a problem. It may slightly reduce the crunchiness effect which the molasses in the brown sugar is supposed to bring.
