Rava Bhakri or Semolina Bhakri is an age old Goan breakfast or snack recipe. It has crispy outer layer and is soft and tasty on the inside. It is a very healthy, filling and tasty breakfast or snack option.
Ingredients
  • Semolina: 2 cups
  • Onion: 1 cup finely chopped
  • Tomato: 1 small finely chopped
  • Coriander: 2 tbsp finely chopped
  • Green Chillies: 2 slit vertically
  • Chilli Powder: 2 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder: 1 tsp
  • Sugar: ½ tsp
  • Salt: to taste
Instructions
  1. Mix all the ingredients mentioned above and add ¾ cup water to make thick mixture.
  2. Divide the mixture into 6 equal parts.
  3. Heat a little oil on a pan and put one portion of mixture on the pan. Wet your fingers and spread the mixture outwards till you form a disk of equal thickness.
  4. Keep covered and cook on medium flame till golden brown on one side. Flip over and let cook on the other side too. Serve hot with tomato ketchup or butter
