This Simple Capsicum Sabzi is a no onion, no garlic recipe which serves as a very good accompaniment with a meal of rice, curry, papad etc.
Ingredients
  • Capsicum : 2
  • Mustard seeds : ¼ tsp
  • Hing : Pinch
  • Turmeric powder : ¼ tsp
  • Chilly powder : ½ tsp
  • Besan : 2 heaped tbsp
  • Salt : to taste
Instructions
  1. Heat a little oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds and hing to it.Let splutter. Add turmeric powder, chilly powder, salt and chopped capsicum and stir fry for a while. Add little water and close lid till capsicum gets cooked.
  2. Stir the besan in a little water to make paste. Add this to (1) and mix well. Close lid and let cook.
