Stuffed Mushrooms

Stuffed Mushrooms is a delicious Mushroom appetizer which is very easy to make and uses very simple ingredients.
Ingredients
  • Mushrooms: 250 gm
  • Paneer: ½ cup grated
  • Cream Cheese: 2 tbsp
  • Oregano: ½ tsp
  • Basil: ½ tsp
  • Onion: 1 finely chopped
  • Garlic: 2 cloves finely chopped
  • Salt: to taste
  • Olive Oil: As required
  • Cheese: As required
Instructions
  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Separate the mushroom stems from the head. Finely chop the mushroom stems.
  3. In a pan, heat 1 tbsp olive oil. Add onion and garlic and stir fry till translucent.
  4. Add mushroom stems and stir fry for 2 minutes.
  5. Add paneer, cream cheese, oregano, basil and salt and mix well. Divide the stuffing into as many portions as number of mushrooms.
  6. Brush the mushrooms with olive oil. In mushroom head, put one portion of the stuffing. Sprinkle grated cheese over it.
  7. Bake in oven for 20 minutes. Serve hot. Sprinkle mixed herbs over them (optional)
