Here is a recipe for pizza made from the scratch i.e including the pizza base, pizza sauce and the delicious paneer tikka topping. And the best part about this Pizza is that it is made with whole wheat flour pizza base.
Ingredients
Whole Wheat Flour: 3 cups
Active dry yeast: ¾ tbsp
Olive Oil: 2 tbsp
Sugar: 1 tsp
Warm Water: 1 and ¼ cup
Onion: 1 medium sliced
Capsicum: 1 medium sliced
Corn: ½ cup boiled
Tomato: 1 pureed
Tomato Ketchup: 2 tbsp
Dry Oregano: ¼ tsp
Dry Basil: ¼ tsp
Red Chili Flakes: ¼ tsp
Salt: to taste
Paneer: 250 gm
Hung Yoghurt: ½ cup
Chili Powder: 1 tsp
Garlic Paste: 1 tsp
Ginger Paste: 1 tsp
Garam Masala: ½ tsp
Lemon Juice: 1 tbsp
Mozzarella Cheese: As required
Instructions
To make pizza base, add sugar and yeast to the warm water and let it sit for 15-30 minutes till it becomes frothy.
Add 3 cups of flour, oil and salt to the frothy yeast mixture.
Knead the dough into a smooth ball. It is very important to knead well for gluten formation.
Apply oil all over the dough. Cover with moist cloth and keep in warm place for around 1 hour.
The dough will double up. (You may need to keep it for more time based on the temperature outside)
