- Prawns: 1 cup shelled and deveined
- Cumin Powder: ½ tsp
- Ginger Paste: 2 tsp
- Garlic Paste: 2 tsp
- Tamarind Pulp: 1-2 tbsp
- Chili Powder: 1 tbsp
- Turmeric Powder: ½ tsp
- Rice Flour: 2 tbsp
- Salt: to taste
- Oil: 2 tbsp + for shallow frying
- Marinate the prawns with all the ingredients and the 2 tbsp oil. Cover and keep in refrigerator for ½ hour.
- Shallow fry the prawns on a flat frying pan till golden brown on both sides.
