Dahi Poha is a Goan Poha recipe in which poha is mixed with yogurt and tempered with some spices. It is commonly made on the occasion of Diwali.
Ingredients
  • Poha: 1 cup
  • Curd: 2 cups
  • Mustard Seeds: 1 tsp
  • Cumin Seeds: 1 tsp
  • Asafoetida (Hing): A pinch
  • Curry Leaves (Kadipatta): 3-4 leaves
Instructions
  1. Wash the poha and soak in water for 5 minutes.
  2. Drain all the excess water. Add curd and mix well.
  3. In a pan, heat a little oil. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, hing and curry leaves. Close lid and let mustard seeds splutter.
  4. Add to the poha-curd mixture and mix well.
