Grilled Fish

A very simple Grilled Fish recipe which uses a coriander-green chilly marinade. It can be served as an appetizer or as a part of main course. Either ways, it is sure to be a hit.
Ingredients
  • Kingfish steaks: 500 gm
  • Ginger: 1 inch piece
  • Garlic: 12 cloves
  • Green Chilies: 2
  • Coriander Leaves: ¼ cup chopped
  • Lemon juice: 2 tsp
  • Vegetable Oil: 3 tbsp
  • Salt: to taste
  • Chili Powder: 3 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder: ½ tsp
  • Garam Masala: ½ tsp
  • Semolina: As required
Instructions
  1. Grind the ginger, garlic, coriander, green chilies and lemon juice into a paste.
  2. Mix together this paste with oil, salt, chili powder, turmeric powder and garam masala.
  3. Rub this mixture all over the fish. Cover and marinate in fridge for ½ hour.
  4. Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  5. Sprinkle the fish with semolina. Place the fish steaks on the grill plate and let cook for 40 minutes, turning in between. Fish will appear brown and cooked.
Notes
Time required to grill fish might vary based on the type of oven used.
