Cheesy Rice is a very simple rice recipe which combines together rice, veggies and cheese into a delightful combination. Very easy to make and tasty too!
Ingredients
Butter: 1 tbsp
Bay Leaves: 3
Garlic: 3 cloves finely chopped
Onions: 1 medium chopped
Capsicum: 1 chopped
Basmati Rice: 1 cup
Coriander Leaves: ½ cup finely chopped
Tomatoes: 2 medium peeled and chopped
Salt: 1 tsp
Pepper: ¼ tsp
Chili Powder: ¼ tsp
Water: 2 and ½ cups
Cheese: ½ cup grated
Instructions
Wash and soak rice in water for ½ hour.
Melt butter in a pan. Add bay leaves and garlic. Stir fry for 1-2 minutes.
Add onion and stir fry till translucent.
Add all other ingredients except cheese and mix well.
Add heated water and cook on medium heat till rice is completely cooked.
Add cheese and serve hot.
