Dahi Gobhi is a delicious curry in which cauliflower is cooked in a curd base along with spices.
Ingredients
  • Cauliflower (Gobhi): Small Gobhi cut into florets
  • Onion: 2 medium
  • Ginger: ½ inch piece
  • Garlic: 3 cloves
  • Tomatoes: 2 medium finely chopped
  • Yogurt: ½ cup
  • Green Chilly: 1
  • Coriander Powder: ¼ tsp
  • Cumin Powder: ¼ tsp
  • Turmeric Powder: ¼ tsp
  • Chili Powder: ½ tsp
  • Garam masala: ¼ tsp
  • Oil: ¼ cup
  • Coriander: 2 tbsp finely chopped
  • Salt: to taste
Instructions
  1. Grind onions,green chilly, ginger and garlic into a paste.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Stir fry the onion paste till brown.
  3. Add tomatoes and curd and stir fry till oil separates.
  4. Add turmeric powder, chili powder, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder and salt. Stir well.
  5. Add cauliflower florets. Close lid and let cook till cauliflower is cooked.
  6. Garnish with coriander.
