Methi bhaji is a very simple sabzi which can be eaten with rotis or as a side dish with rice.
Ingredients
  • Methi: 1 bunch cleaned and chopped finely.
  • Garlic: 4-5 cloves crushed
  • Onion: 1 big finely chopped
  • Tomato: 1 medium finely chopped
  • Green chili: 1 big slit vertically
  • Grated Coconut: 1 tsp
  • Jaggery: 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric Powder: ½ tsp
  • Salt: to taste
Instructions
  1. In a pan, heat oil and stir fry the onion and green chili till onion is translucent.
  2. Add turmeric powder and mix well.
  3. Add tomato and salt and stir fry till soft.
  4. Add methi leaves and mix well. Close lid and let cook till methi is cooked.
  5. Add coconut and jaggery and mix well. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  6. In a separate tadka pan, heat oil and stir fry the crushed garlic till brown. Add garlic to the methi bhaji.
