Carrot Cake

A simple recipe for a moist and delicious carrot cake. It is very easy to make and so tasty, that you are sure to make it often!
Ingredients
  • All Purpose Flour: 2 cups
  • Vegetable Oil: 1 and ¼ cup
  • Sugar: 2 cups
  • Eggs: 4
  • Vanilla Essence: 2 tsp
  • Baking Soda: 2 tsp
  • Baking Powder: 2 tsp
  • Cinnamon Powder: 2 tsp
  • Carrot: 3 cups grated
  • Walnuts: 1 cup broken into small pieces
  • Salt :1/2 tsp
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. Beat the eggs till light and fluffy. Add sugar, vegetable oil and vanilla essence and beat well.
  3. Mix in the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon powder and salt. Mix well.
  4. Stir in the carrots and walnuts.
  5. Pour the prepared batter in the cake pan and let bake for 45 minutes.
  6. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes and then turn on wire rack and cool completely.
