Rawa Fried Brinjal

Fried Brinjal is a very simple and delicious preparation of brinjal which can be served as a starter or also as an accompaniment with the main course.
Ingredients
  • Brinjal: 2 big
  • Turmeric Powder: 1 tsp
  • Chili Powder: 1-2 tsp
  • Garam Masala: 1 tsp
  • Salt: to taste
  • Semolina : ¾ cup
  • Oil: for frying
Instructions
  1. Clean and cut the brinjal into slices of 0.5 cm thickness. Apply salt to the brinjal slices and keep aside.
  2. Mix chili powder, garam masala and turmeric powder in the semolina.
  3. Dip each brinjal slice in the semolina and coat it on all sides with it.
  4. Heat oil in a pan. Shallow fry the brinjal slices till golden brown on one side.
  5. Fry on the other side too and your rava fried brinjal is ready to serve.
