Prawns Dangar (Goan Prawn Cutlet)

Prawns Dangar is the Goan version of Prawns cutlets. It serves as a great appetizer or can also be served as a part of the main course.
Ingredients
  • Semolina: 1 cup
  • Prawns: 2 cup small
  • Scrapped Coconut: ¼ cup
  • Onion: 1 large finely chopped (around 1 cup)
  • Coriander: 2 tbsp finely chopped
  • Chili Powder: 2 and ½ tsp
  • Turmeric Powder: 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala: ½ tsp
  • Water: ¼ to ½ cup
  • Salt: to taste
Instructions
  1. Mix all the ingredients mentioned above to make thick mixture.
  2. Divide the mixture into small parts.
  3. Take each part and flatten it using your palm.
  4. Heat oil in a flat frying pan and shallow fry the dangar till golden brown on both sides.
Notes
If the size of the Prawns is big, then cut it into small pieces.
