Aam Ka Panna (Raw Mango Panna)

Beat the summer heat with this refreshing and healthy mango drink – Aam ka Panna.
Ingredients
  • Raw Mangoes: 4
  • Jaggery: 2 cups
  • Cumin Powder: 4 tsp
  • Pepper Powder: 1.5 tsp
  • Lemon juice: 1 tbsp (optional)
  • Salt: to taste
Instructions
  1. Steam the mangoes to make them soft. I placed them in the pressure cooker for 1 whistle.
  2. Remove all the pulp. (I got around one cup of pulp with 4 mangoes)
  3. Add cumin powder, pepper powder, lemon juice, jaggery and salt. Blend. Note that you may need to add more jaggery based on how sour the mangoes are.
  4. Take around 3 tbsp of pulp in a glass. Add 2-3 ice cubes. Fill with cold water.
  5. Garnish with mint leaves and lemon.
