Ingredients:
Jackfruit Pulp (pureed): 1/2 cup
Semolina :3/4 cup
Jaggery : 2 tbsp (can be altered as per taste)
Scrapped Coconut : 2 tbsp
Salt : a pinch
Oil: for deep frying
Method of Preparation:
- Add all the ingredients and mix till you have a uniform thick batter. The batter needs to be thick enough to be able to make it into balls to be deep fried. The amount of semolina can be a adjusted to get the desired consistency.
- Heat oil in a kadhai. Take small portions of the batter,make into round shapes and deep fry till they are golden brown in color.
- Remove from oil and place on absorbent paper. Your simple and delicious jackfruit pakoras or jackfruit fritters are ready.
