Prawn Toast is an absolutely delicious appetizer recipe. Bread slices smeared generously with a prawn paste (made using a few basic ingredients) and shallow fried. Yes, its that simple and easy 🙂 If you love prawns, this prawn toast recipe is sure to figure on your menu pretty often 🙂
The best part of this prawn toast recipe is there is no cutting involved. You just grind all the ingredients to a smooth paste and you are just a few minutes away from gorging on yummy and delicious prawn toasts. These prawn toasts definitely fit into the ‘no-one-can-eat-just-one’ category :). If you like you may have them with tomato sauce, but I personally preferred them plain as that allows you to enjoy the beautiful prawn flavor more. If you are a prawn love like me, you will know what I mean 🙂 Some of our other interesting prawn recipes are Pickles Prawns, Prawn Pockets, Spicy Beer Prawns or Prawn and Orange Salad. For a more traditional or shall I say Goan indulgence, you may like to check Prawn Sukhe, Prawn Dangar, Prawn curry, Prawn Balchao etc. I think, I can just go on and on when it comes to prawns :).
