Chocolate Fudge

Chocolate fudge is a very easy to make and delicious dessert. It requires a very few simple ingredients and is a treat for chocolate lovers ?

I remember my mom making chocolate fudge for me very often when I was small as I would love it so much. Yesterday, I thought of trying out the recipe myself. My daughter was excited all along when she got to know that I am making chocolate fudge. It turned out very good and brought back my childhood memories.

Here is the step by step recipe for chocolate fudge with pictures:

Serves: 8-10
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

Cocoa Powder: 1/4 cup
Sweetened Condensed Milk: 1 tin (400 gm)
All purpose flour (Maida): 2 tbsp
Powdered sugar: 1/2 cup
Butter: 1/2 cup
Walnuts: 1/2 cup broken into small pieces

Method of Preparation:

  1. Line a tray or pan with butter paper.
  2. Mix all ingredients except the walnuts in a deep bottomed pan and heat.
  3. Keep mixing on low heat till the mixture thickens and starts moving in a mass. Add walnuts and mix well.
  4. Put the mixture in the pan/tray and smoothen the surface.
  5. Let cool, then refrigerate for 2-3 hours till it sets completely. Cut into squares. Your delicious Chocolate fudge is ready.
