Green leafy vegetables are not loved by many. I am lucky that at my home, everyone likes Methi and Palak. Whether it is Mutter palak or Palak Paneer or Chicken Saagwala or Chicken and Spinach Stuffed buns or Palak Parathas, I can be sure it will be enjoyed. With Methi I used to only make Methi Paratha. This time I thought of trying something different. So here we have – Methi Appe. ?

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes

Cumin Powder : 1/2 tsp
Methi Leaves(Fenugreek leaves) : 3/4 cup (chopped)
Coriander leaves : 2 tbsp (finely chopped)

Baking Soda: 1 pinch
Salt : as per taste
Method of Preparation:
- Soak the beaten rice in just enough amount of water and keep aside.

The batter should not be too thin. If the batter turns out too thick, you can add some more butter milk or water to get the desired consistency. Refer pic below. - Add the baking soda and mix again.
- Heat the appe pan and put few drops of oil in each mould.
Add the batter in each mould. Let cook till golden brown on one side. Turn over and let cook on other side too.
Serve hot with tomato chilli sauce.
