Stir Fry Bell Peppers

Bell Peppers Stir Fry is a quick and easy recipe that combines three different colored bell peppers. Bell Peppers are low in calories and have several health benefits making this Bell Peppers Stir Fry recipe an excellent choice for the diet conscious folks. Bell Peppers are loaded with vitamin C which boosts immunity and is known to keep your skin beautiful. Besides the bright red, green and yellow color makes this recipe a very attractive looking one too :)

Below is the step by step recipe for making this quick and easy Stir Fry Bell Peppers :)

Ingredients:

Red Bell Pepper : 1 (cut into long strips)
Yellow Bell Pepper : 1 (cut into long strips)
Green Bell Pepper : 1 (cut into long strips)
Onion : 1 medium (cut into discs and separated)
Chicken Sausage : 4-5 (each sausage cut into 5-6 pieces diagonally)
Pepper : 1/4 tsp (can be increased as per taste)
Soya Sauce : 1 tsp
Oregano : 1/4 tsp (can be increased as per taste)
Oil : 2 – 3 tsp
Salt : as per taste

Method of Preparation:

  1. Heat 1 tsp oil in a wok. Add the chopped chicken sausages and a pinch of pepper. Stir fry for 2-3 min. Remove the sausage pieces from the wok and keep aside.
  2. In the same wok, add 1-2 tsp oil. Add the bell peppers and onion and stir fry for 2-3 min.
  3. Add the soya sauce, salt and oregano and mix well.
  4. Add the stir-fried sausage chunks and mix once more. Your Chicken Sausage and Bell peppers stir fry is ready.

Note : The Chicken Sausage used in this recipe can be replaced by paneer (for the vegetarian option) or tofu (for the vegan one).
